Celebrate Bastille day in Old Town on Sunday, July 14!
To celebrate Old Town's twinning with Montmartre, Paris, Old Town Merchants Association & Old Town Triangle Association are jointly planning this celebration, as part of Old Town's neighborhood twinning with Montmartre, Paris.
Events throughout Old Town include two free public performances by the marvelous Paris-born cabaret singer Claudia Hommel and her accordionist Sam Hyson; French-inspired crafts, art, and music at the Near North Library; Family-friendly activities and caricature drawing by Art on Sedgwick at Burton Place Plaza; a Cafe/Cabaret Reception at the Old Town Triangle Center; and movie night featuring Ratatouille at Ella Jenkins Park.
Many local businesses will have French-themed offerings to celebrate the holiday. Read more about all the events planned HERE.
